New Weigh In Day

I decided to go to a different SW group as the one I was in wasn't very good, the consultant was nice enough but she didn't give out certificates or do anything like Miss Slinky. I know its not a massive negative but it was really getting on my nerves! I think if you are paying for a service you should get the rewards the same as every other group, so I just thought instead of being annoyed every week I might as well find another group! im glad to say the new group is like a breath of fresh air! very glad I went there! im going to put some pics of my meals from the past week which saw me losing 3lbs this week!!! 10.5lbs in 7 weeks so im very happy!!

feeling positive!

as the title suggests im feeling really positive with the slimming world plan right now, I have been experimenting with new recipies which helps me to keep focused!
I have today made some sw haribo type sweets only 1.5syns for them all! last night I made sw syn free cream soda rice pudding which was delish! the kids helped me to eat it so I will be making some more. I also made mushy pea curry which was lovely too although my hubby wasn't very impressed as it wasn't spicy enough for him but I just think he didn't like the idea of the mushy peas, he doesn't like 'diet' foods so it makes it harder for me as I have to cook my own meals separately & try to find freezer space for the extra portions.
meals for yesterday (Wednesday)

breakfast - smash pancakes with chopped banana sprinkled with cinnamon

lunch - sausage & pasta bake, 2syns for the cheese & a pink & white.

tea - mushy pea curry with chicken breast & boiled rice 1syn

snacks -  cream soda rice pudding, a marshmallow sweet 2syns & 2 x hifi bars (HXB)

total of 8 syns for the day :-)

todays meals so far & planned for later

breakfast - smash pancakes with chopped banana again!

lunch - chicken tikka pieces with pasta & salad, extra light mayo 1syn

tea - mushy pea curry with chicken & boiled rice again as I couldn't fit this portion in the freezer! 1syn

snacks - jelly sweets 1.5syns, probably 2 x hifi bars later (HXB)

so far only 3.5 syns unless I snack on something else later, here are some pics xx

new start!

after my bad Halloween week I weighed in 2lb heavier, not too upset as it was expected! I have given myself a good talking to & started afresh today.
my meals today are;
breakfast - a banana & alpen light (hxb) at slimming world class

lunch - chicken breast with slimming world fries & salad

tea - beef stew with smash mash & sprouts, only 2 syns for the gravy granules

snacks - slimming world scotch egg 1syn, hifi bar (hxb), scan bran cheese cake 1syn & a special k biscuit bar 5syns.

total syns for the day 9 so on target! hope the rest of the week will be as good!

Halloween!!!!

I haven't blogged since Tuesday I have just realised! Had a very very bad week because of Halloween! I am like a big kid when it comes to sweets, all was going perfectly until Thursday night, I had bought sweets in for Halloween which I kept eating & then the kids came home with bags & bags full of them! it totally threw me off track. Friday was a family Halloween party with scrummy pie & peas & plenty of vodka! got a bit tipsy! Saturday was a girly night at my friends house which involved even more vodka & she kindly made a gorgeous lasagne & garlic bread! Sunday I couldn't get back on track so my weigh in day is Tuesday & I will be expecting a huge gain! never mind life will get in the way sometimes! Like I have said before if I cant stick to it 100% I cant stick to it at all so after my weigh in on Tues I will be back on it 100%.

Half a pound at a time!

So happy today as it is my weigh day & I lost half a pound! not much but I really was expecting to gain, had a blow out on Friday, food & alcohol! then I tried to get back in control for the rest of the week but i wasn't very successful. I kept snacking between meals on hifi bars, alpen light bars, bits of the kids sweet & choc & a couple of packs of crisps! I even succumbed to a crust of white bread thick with butter on Sunday night, why do I do this?? I seem to purposely sabotage myself if I cant be 100% on track I have to blow the whole week like an idiot! if I had not had those inbetween meal snacks I bet I could have lost another pound! anyway back from class, I didn't stay this week as the kids are off school. I like to stay to class as I find it motivating & my willpower seems much stronger!

think im going to have stirfry with quorn pieces for lunch, not sure about my tea yet I have got a chicken breast defrosting so maybe a curry??

Hello!

Hello!

This is my first ever blog, I decided to start a sort of online diary to help with my Slimming World mission! I need to lose about 2 stone to get to my target weight although if I ever get to a size 12 I think that would make me happy!

2 & a half year ago I used to weigh 18st 8lbs but I had a gastric sleeve operation in May 2011 due to health reasons, I was very lucky & managed to get it free on the wonderful NHS, best thing I ever did! I lost 6 stones easily & without any effort but the last 3 stone will not shift! I almost reached 7 stone weight loss but I keep regaining a stone then losing a bit then putting it back on so I have joined Slimming World hoping it will keep me in control of my eating habits.

Right that's just a quick introduction to me & I will be back with how I have done so far since I joined Slimming World.
